Cartel OK's "Hit" on Border Patrol Agents Incoming Trump Border Czar Says
"Cartel leaders are angered, claiming (an agent injured one of its members) without cause or remorse."
Tom Homan - who will serve as President-elect Trump's "Border Czar" - has confirmed reports that a Mexican Cartel has ordered the shooting of a U.S. Border Patrol Agent.
Ali Bradley - of NewsNation - first reported this by posting a warning sent by the Border Patrol to its agents in the San Diego Sector earlier this month:
Although the Border Patrol bulletin said that "top cartel leaders ordered the shooting toward agents," incoming Border Czar Homan - himself a former Border Patrol Agent - described the order as a "hit":
"A special hit has been ordered by Mexican cartel leaders after a US Border Patrol agent used his car to stop (an) illegal entry." -incoming "Border Czar" Tom Homan (via x.com)
The Cartel order follows an incident last month in the San Diego Sector during which a Border Patrol vehicle struck a man - believed to be a cartel human smuggling "guide" - while responding to migrants scaling the "Border Wall."
A video clip of the incident posted to social media convinced the cartel that the agent deliberately ran down their "guide" - even though he appeared unhurt and was able to quickly climb back over the wall into Mexico before the agent could capture him.

Incoming Border Czar Homan says that "(Border Patrol) Agents are aware of the order by the cartel leaders and they do expect a (shooting) in retaliation."
Elsewhere along the Border Wall in the San Diego Sector, Border Patrol agents are finding homemade "spike strips" placed by the cartels in areas they frequently patrol that are designed to flatten the tires of their patrol vehicles.
"There has been a concerning uptick in dangerous tactics used by smugglers on the US/Mexico border. Smugglers have been deploying spike strips to disable Border Patrol vehicles. Historically, these tactics are used when we increase our effectiveness across our border." - Patricia McGurk-Daniel, Chief Border Patrol Agent (San Diego Sector)
