The "sponsors" -as near as I can tell - are mostly family members, although some may be "your Aunt's Cousin" type of family members - so I feel for the federal employees trying to do the right thing by these kids under less than ideal circumstances and faced with numbers that overwhelm their ability to properly vet all of these "relatives."
We've been hearing about the numbers, but I've been wondering about the fate of unaccompanied minors.
For those with 'sponsors' - do they have these sponsors through family connections, or purely nefarious means?
